If you are anything like me, this photo demonstrates perfectly what my life has felt like for the last 3 weeks.

I have felt a lot of crazy emotions but the one that is on my mind most, is that I feel like I have abandoned my followers and my work.

I hope and pray that you and your loved ones are safe and sound during this crazy unprecedented time.

You may have noticed that most of my recent posts and tutorials do not mention the current situation.

The short answer is that fortunately, I had a lot of content already prepared and scheduled for you all. That has been a complete blessing for me.

I seem to be going through quite a creative slump right now. I don’t know if it is from the anxiety we are all going through or the uncertainty, but it is very real and I am trying to work my way out of it.

Although I haven’t had much success at my bench lately, I have had a lot of good luck in the kitchen.

I have decided that it might be a good idea to share a few recipes and food posts for a little while.

I have been thinking about adding this line of writing and tutorials to my blog for quite a while.

I think now is the perfect time, for  a few reasons.

  • A. I can renew my capacity for writing and working everyday, until my creativity takes an upswing.
  • B. It will give us all something to focus on, other than all the scary news and uncertainty out there.

But what about our Jewelry Tutorials???

Well that is one thing I don’t have to worry about.

I have tons of content and projects coming your way. I was ahead of the game and have the tutorials ready for the following month… that is being released at the same schedule I normally use.

While I would have loved to worked up a lot of videos, it is really hard to manage with everyone home from work.

I am considering working on  a few less formal type video formats, but I haven’t quite gotten there yet. I live in a very rural area and we rely on DSL internet and not so wonderful cell coverage.

However, if this crisis continues, I am going to throw caution to the wind and go with the flow. So you may have to hear my crazy roommate singing to the puppy in the background hahahahaha.

In the meantime, stay safe and follow your own instincts … do what is right to keep yourself and your loved ones safe and sound.

I love you all and will try my best to stay in touch with you better.

See you in the next post.
