Now that you have seen the specs from the website, lets talk more specifically about what you actually receive.
First up, the packaging is very nice indeed. The montees are separated into 8 different varieties and packaged into small baggies. Each baggie is packed into a really nice, sectioned plastic container that closes securely. The box itself is very nicely made and durable.
You will receive 20 each of the following shapes in various colors:
- Raindrops – 6x10mm
- Large Rounds – 8mm
- Teardrops – 7x10mm
- Hearts – 10x10mm
- Ovals – 6x9mm
- Baguettes – 6x9mm
- Marquis – 5x10mm
- Small Rounds – 4mm
The rhinestones are faceted and some have Aurora Borealis (Rainbow) finish.
Each montee has 2 sets of sew through holes drilled into the silver toned brass base making them perfect for adding to clothes and certain types of jewelry.
My Opinions
Pros:
Beautiful Colors
Well made base
Unique Shapes
Great quantity for the price
Cons:
Some of the prongs need to be managed before using.
You only get a few of each color, some only one.
It is a Sample Pack.
Overall, I think you get very decent deal with this product.
Keep in mind that it is a sample pack.
You can get a feel for the different shapes, colors and sizes available on the market. And learn how to incorporate them into your craft and Jewelry designs.
Perfect for one off projects, especially bead embroidery.
If you need a lot of one particular color, this is not the choice for you.
