The inspiration for this design comes from my childhood memories of the Cathedral Window quilts my mother made. The quilt pattern had a similar design as the Flat Chenille stitch used in this pattern.
I love the simplicity of this pattern. It is just one basic stitch and some simple embellishing but it makes for a very pretty pair of earrings.
The earrings are made with just seed beads of two sizes. The base beads form the tiny Window panes and the accent beads complete the effect of stained glass. This pair is great for daytime and casual wear.
